Uploading Verification Documents Successfully

How to upload verification documents successfully

When uploading verification documents for Account Verification via GeoComply or Customer Support, clear and complete images help us review your details more quickly.

Please follow the guidance below to avoid delays.

Show the full document

  • Ensure all four corners of the document are visible

  • Do not crop, fold, or partially cut off the document

Use good lighting

  • Take the photo in a well-lit environment

  • Avoid shadows, glare, or reflections that may obscure information

Use a clear background

  • Place the document on a plain, uncluttered surface

  • Make sure nothing is covering the document, including fingers or other objects

Make sure the image is clear and readable

  • The photo should be in focus and not blurry

  • All text, numbers, and details must be clearly visible and legible

Check your image before uploading

  • Review the photo to confirm all information can be easily read

  • If any details are unclear, retake the photo before uploading

Common mistakes to avoid

The issues below are the most common reasons verification images can’t be accepted:

  • Part of the document is cut off
The full document must be visible, including all four corners.

  • The photo is too dark or has glare
Poor lighting, shadows, or reflections can hide important details.

  • The image is blurry or out of focus
If text or numbers aren’t clear, the document may need to be uploaded again.

  • Objects are covering the document
Fingers, hands, or other items blocking any part of the document can prevent verification.

  • The background is cluttered
Busy or unclear backgrounds can make it harder to confirm document details.

  • The image quality is too low
Screenshots or heavily compressed images may not show enough detail.
