Dabble General Rules, Terms and Conditions
PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION BEFORE YOU MOVE ON TO THE REMAINDER OF THESE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Everything contained in this Agreement (see clause 1.3 below for how "Agreement" is defined) is important and should be read by you, but we would like to draw your attention in particular to the following clauses in these General T&Cs (“General T&Cs” is defined in clause 1.3 below) and the important terms and conditions that they contain. It is important that you read the clauses themselves and not rely on the short summaries below:
By registering for an Account (defined in clause 4.1 below) and/or accessing or using any part of the Dabble Sports Applications (defined in clause 1.1 below) you are entering into a legally binding contract. That contract is between you and us and it includes all the terms, conditions and documents forming the “Agreement” (explained and defined in clause 1 below). Please read clause 1 carefully.
You must be 18 years or over and meet certain other eligibility criteria and requirements to use the Dabble Sports Applications. When you register for an Account with us, you are promising to us that you meet these criteria requirements. Please read clause 4 carefully.
You may only register for one Account. If we discover that you have opened more than one Account (which we call a “Duplicate Account”), we will have certain rights, including the right to close your Duplicate Account(s) (and in some circumstances your original Account too) and to void bets/wagers, bonuses and/or winnings. Please read clause 5.6 carefully.
We will need to complete our Verification Checks (defined in clause 6) before you can do certain things in connection with your Account. We may also run Verification Checks on an ongoing basis after your Account has been opened. If we’re unable to complete our Verification Checks to our reasonable satisfaction, we will have the right to suspend and, ultimately, to close your Account, and we may pass on any necessary information to the relevant authorities. Please read clause 6 carefully.
Withdrawing your funds: You will usually be able to withdraw your available Account balance at any time, but there are certain circumstances in which we will be entitled to delay or withhold withdrawals. Please read clause 12 carefully.
We will not tolerate fraudulent activity, cheating or any other “Prohibited Activities” (defined in clause 13 below). If you do any of these things, we will have certain rights, including the right to suspend and, ultimately, close your Account, to cancel/void your bets and/or to withhold funds (including winnings). Please read clauses 13 and 14 carefully.
Your obligation to compensate us. You may be required to compensate us if we suffer losses because you have engaged in a Prohibited Activity. Please read clause 13.5 carefully.
In certain circumstances, our liability to you is limited or excluded: When you access and use the Dabble Sports Applications, it is important that you understand what we are liable for, when limits to our liability will apply (and what those limits are), and what we are not liable for. It is also important that you understand that we will not be liable to you under this Agreement, and nor do we owe you a duty of care, in respect of our compliance or otherwise with any regulatory obligations that we may be under from time to time. Please read clause 17 carefully.
Maximum win/payout limits apply to some of our Dabble Sports Applications: This means that, regardless of the amount you stake and no matter how much you appear to have ‘won’, you will only be entitled to receive up to the maximum win/payout limit. Please read clauses 19.6 and 23.8 carefully.
Errors, Malfunctions, and Interruptions: If any part of the Dabble Sports Applications suffers an Error, Malfunction, or Interruption (as each of those terms are defined in clause 20.3 below) we have certain rights including the right to void affected Transactions (defined in clause 1.2 below) and not to pay you out. This includes circumstances where the problem is not obvious to you or us and is only discovered by us when we check or verify the result of a Transaction and/or gameplay retrospectively, including (if applicable) upon a request by you to withdraw funds from your Account. Please read clause 20 carefully.
We may sometimes take actions in relation to your Account for regulatory reasons including where required to do so by the terms of our licence and/or a regulatory authority. These actions include running certain Verification Checks, restricting/closing your Account, and preventing you from taking up Promotions and/or completing Promotions (as defined in clause 26.1 below). Please read clauses 6, 14.4, and 26.2 carefully.
1. These General T&Cs and Other Important Terms That Apply to You
1.1 When you register for an Account with us (“Account” is defined in clause 4.1 below) and/or use or access the betting, gaming and/or gambling products or services offered by Dabble Sports via the Dabble Sports mobile applications and the Dabble Sports website www.dabble.co.uk (“Website”) (collectively, the “Dabble Sports Applications”), you will be entering into a legally binding agreement with us.
1.2 You should take time to ensure you understand and agree to all the terms and conditions of the Agreement before you register for an Account or use the Dabble Sports Applications. If you don’t understand any part of the Agreement or do not agree to any part of it, you should not register for an Account or use any aspect of the Dabble Sports Applications including by depositing any money or
placing/making any bets, wagers, stakes, or other transactions (“Transactions”).
1.3 Not all of the legal terms and conditions that apply between you and us are set out in these General Terms and Conditions (“General T&Cs”) – some of them are contained in separate documents in order to avoid these General T&Cs becoming too long. We cross-refer to these other documents and provide you with links to them at all appropriate points. They are still important terms which form part of the legal agreement between you and us, and you should read and understand them just like the rest of these General T&Cs. These cross-referenced terms which (together with these General T&Cs) form the binding agreement between you and us (the/this "Agreement") include the following:
· these General T&Cs;
· the General Sport Rules;
· the Individual Sport Rules;
· the Racing Rules; and
· the Community Guidelines and Banter Channel Rules;
· Standard Promotional Terms together with the specific terms/rules for any
Promotions (as defined in clause 26.1 below) that we offer from time to time (together the “Promotional Terms”).
“Rules” means, collectively, the General Sport Rules, the Individual Sport Rules, the Racing Rules and the Community Guidelines and Banter Channel Rules.
1.4 If there is any conflict between these General T&Cs and any other terms or rules which comprise the Agreement, these General T&Cs will take to that extent precedence.
1.5 Your personal information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
2. Dabble Sports
2.1 “Dabble” and “Dabble Sports” are trading names of Dabble Sports UK Ltd, company number 15785308, a company registered with UK Companies House. In these General T&Cs, all references to “we”, “us” and “our” are references to Dabble Sports UK Ltd.
2.2 Dabble is a sports bookmaker operating in the United Kingdom, licensed and regulated by the Gambling Commission of Great Britain (“GCGB”) to accept wagers or bets by remote electronic transmission.
3. Changes to the Agreement and/or the Dabble Sports Applications
Changes to the Agreement
3.1 We may amend the terms of the Agreement from time to time for a number of reasons, for example to reflect changes to the Dabble Sports Applications, changes in law or regulation, for security purposes, and/or to reflect changes in our business practices or operations. Minor changes to the Agreement can be made at any time and will be effective immediately upon posting to the Website. Where amendments are material, we will provide you with reasonable advance notice of these amendments (on the Dabble Sports Applications or via email) prior to the amendments taking effect.
3.2 Your continued use of the Dabble Sports Applications following any change to the Agreement taking effect (which, as explained above, either takes place immediately on posting, or (for material changes) following a period of notice) indicates your acceptance of the updated Agreement. If you do not agree to any change to the Agreement, you should stop using the Dabble Sports Applications. You may close your Account at any time (see clause 15 below).
Changes to the Dabble Sports Applications
3.3 Dabble Sports may cancel, change, remove, add, and/or restrict the products, markets, promotions, bet types, or any other aspect of the Dabble Sports Applications at any time with or without notice to Customers. If the relevant change to the Dabble Sports Applications would constitute a material change which is to your detriment, we will try to give you reasonable prior notice wherever possible, however some amendments to the Dabble Sports Applications may be required to be made with immediate effect and without notice (for example, for security reasons).
4. Customer Accounts and Account Eligibility
4.1 If you wish to become a registered Customer of Dabble Sports, you will need to open a betting account with Dabble Sports (“Account”). A “Customer” is a person who holds an active Account and any reference to “you” or “your” in these General T&Cs is a reference to you, as a Customer.
4.2 When you register to open an Account with Dabble Sports, you are warranting (i.e., promising) to us that you:
Are aged 18 years or older;
Have the capacity to enter into binding contracts and to make sound judgments about betting;
Reside in the United Kingdom;
Are aware, and accept, that there is a risk of losing money when using the Dabble Sports Applications and you are responsible for any such loss; and
Are acting solely for your own personal use. You must not act on behalf of someone else in connection with your Account or your use of the Dabble Sports Applications;
Do not already have an open Account with us (see clause 5.6 below);
Are not self-excluded from gambling (whether directly with us or via any multi-operator scheme such as GamStop) or otherwise be prohibited for any reason from gambling or from using the Dabble Sports Applications;
Have not previously had an Account with us which we have suspended or closed.
4.3 You must immediately notify Dabble Sports of any matter (including any potential mental impairment) which may lead us to reasonably infer that your ability to make sound judgments about betting in respect of your Account may be impaired.
5. Account Opening and Duplicate Accounts
5.1 To register to open an Account, you must complete the registration form on the Dabble Sports Applications. You will be asked to provide certain personal information when you complete the registration.
5.2 We are not obliged to accept a registration for an Account.
5.3 You, as the Account holder, are solely responsible for ensuring all Account details (including your payment information (such as your card or bank details)) are accurate, complete, and kept up to date. You must notify us immediately if any of your Account details or payment information are, or become, incorrect. You must notify us of changes to these details or payment information by logging in to your Account and changing the existing details or payment information accordingly.
5.4 In the event of incorrect payment information on your Account, Dabble will not be held responsible for any financial transactions or payments to this Account arising from you recording incorrect bank account or payment information on your Account. This includes but is not limited to instances where funds are transferred to the wrong bank account due to incorrect details provided by you either intentionally or unintentionally.
5.5 Dabble is not responsible for losses incurred by Customers due to inaccurate payment information provided by the Customer. You are encouraged to check and update your Account details regularly, and as required. There is no guarantee that incorrectly transferred funds will be retrievable by you.
5.6 You may only have one Account. If we discover or have reason to believe that you have opened one or more additional Account(s), each such additional Account will be classified as a "Duplicate Account". Dabble Sports is entitled, in respect of each Duplicate Account:
To close such Duplicate Account, leaving you with only the original Account (unless we have reason – for example if you have deliberately or fraudulently opened more than one active Account – to close all your Accounts);
To treat all Promotions using the Duplicate Account, and all winnings accrued from Promotions, as void; and.
To void all future and/or unsettled Transactions on the Duplicate Account (and all winnings accrued from such Transactions).
5.7 While opening or operating Duplicate Accounts is a breach of the Agreement, you always remain responsible for all Transactions on any Account which you hold or which we suspect, on reasonable grounds, that you have opened.
6. Customer Identification and Verification
6.1 We are required to undertake certain checks to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations – for example to enable us to verify your identity, address, location, financial circumstances, and/or the source of the funds you deposit and use – and we may also undertake other credit, fraud prevention and verification checks (our “Verification Checks”).
6.2 We may ask you to provide us with certain information and supporting documentation to enable us to carry out our Verification checks, including (but not limited to) to enable us to verify your full legal name, residential address, date of birth, and details about your income. We need this to comply with legal obligations applicable to Dabble Sports in respect of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing and to comply with our regulatory obligations.
6.3 By registering for an Account, you acknowledge and agree that we may conduct any Verification Checks that we reasonably require, both during Account registration and, if applicable, at any time afterwards. You agree to promptly provide us with any information we may reasonably need in relation to such Verification Checks.
6.4 As part of our Account opening process, you accept and consent to Dabble Sports supplying your identification information to a third-party verification service (e.g. GBG) for the purpose of verifying your identity and re-verification (as applicable), against third party databases and credit headers. None of your personal financial information is passed between third-party identity verification providers and Dabble Sports. We may also use other public information and third-party databases services to verify your source of income, wealth or source of funds.
6.5 Until we have received all requested information/documents and completed our Verification Checks to our reasonable satisfaction, your Account will be restricted in any manner that we reasonably deem appropriate, including by preventing you from depositing funds, accessing the Dabble Sports Applications, entering into any Transactions, or from making withdrawals.
6.6 To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, we may also ask for additional documents for example; proof of your current address and source of income, wealth or funds. Acting reasonably, Dabble Sports may at any time request these documents and information to ensure that all information supplied by you is up to date. Acceptable proof of current address in such circumstances may include a copy of one or more of the following documents (which must be dated no more than three months prior to the date that the customer provides the document to Dabble Sports): (a) a council or rates notice or (b) a residential utility bill. Identification documentation may include a copy of your passport, driving licence.
6.7 In some cases we may need official certified copies of your identification documents and/or source of income, wealth or funds documents by a permitted certifier. All certified documents must be produced in English or they will be rejected. Dabble Sports may carry out checks on or contact the individual who, on a plain reading of the documentation, is the certifier of the documents.
6.8 If you use a debit card to fund your Account, we may request clear copies (of the front and back of the card, with the card number partly redacted) for verification purposes. Please note that we have the discretion to reject a debit card for various reasons, including situations where the debit card is declined, expired or not valid. Debit cards used to fund your Account must match the registered name on your Account. If the name on the debit card differs from the registered Account holder's name, we may refuse the Transaction until we receive consent from the third-party cardholder. We are entitled to request a copy of the front and back of the card linked to your Account at any time. Please be aware that receipt of a card doesn't guarantee the activation or reactivation of your Account.
6.9 Underage gambling is a criminal offence. If we discover (after you've opened an Account) that you are under 18 years of age:
Your Account will be closed;
Any deposits you have made will be returned to you;
All Transactions made via your Account will be void; and
We may make a report to the relevant regulatory or law enforcement authorities.
7. Account Security
7.1 You are responsible for ensuring that your username, password and also other persona Account details (“Secure Customer Details”) are kept confidential. If you suspect that your Secure Customer Details may no longer be confidential or that there may have been unauthorised use of your Account, you must notify us immediately via email at [email protected] or by calling us using the contact information provided on the Website.
7.2 You will be responsible for all activity, including any Transactions and any resulting losses, that take/s place on/via your Account where your Secure Customer Details and/or other security information have been entered correctly (except where our failure to exercise reasonable care has resulted in a third party obtaining your Secure Customer Details).
7.3 If minors have access to a mobile phone, laptop, computer or other device that you use to log into and access your Account, Dabble Sports strongly recommends that a child protection software package (e.g. Cyber Patrol or Net Nanny) is installed onto that device to prevent unauthorised access to your Account by minors. The Dabble Sports Applications contain adult gambling content and are strictly intended for use by persons aged 18 years or older.
7.4 You understand and accept that location data and the ‘Device ID’ from your device while using the Dabble Sports Applications will be accessed and used by our integrated security systems to alert us to suspicious activity, for the purpose of protecting Account security, and preventing fraud.
7.5 Account Security Measures: We prioritise the security of all Accounts. To safeguard against unauthorised access and Account takeover, we strongly recommend that you employ the following security measures:
Strong Passwords: Please ensure that you use a strong and unique password for your Account. A strong password should include a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
Face ID / Fingerprint login: Consider using Face ID or Fingerprint to login to your Account. This technology provides an extra layer of security if your device is lost or stolen.
Account Recovery Information: Maintain accurate and up-to-date account recovery information, such as a valid email address and phone number, to assist in account recovery in case of any unforeseen issues.
8. Inactive Accounts
8.1 Your Account will become an “Inactive Account” if you have not logged in, made a deposit, or placed a bet on your Account for a period of more than 24 months. If you have a positive balance in your Account at that time, we will attempt to contact you (using the contact details you have provided to us) at least 30 days before your Account is classified as Inactive.
8.2 Before classifying an Account as Inactive, we will attempt to return any outstanding real money balance to you using the last payment method used by you to deposit into the Account, except where this Agreement entitles us to withhold payment.
8.3 Once your Account has been classified as Dormant, an administration fee of £5 per month will be deducted from your Inactive Account until your Account balance is £0 or you reactive your Account. To reactivate your Account, you can log in, place a bet, or withdraw your funds into your bank account.
9. Responsible Gambling Including Self-Exclusion
9.1 For information on problem gambling generally, please view the What Is Responsible Gambling? page on the Website.
9.2 We are committed to safer gambling and offer various self-help tools to help you manage your gambling.
9.3 Self-exclusion, in the context of online wagering, refers to a voluntary program or mechanism that allows an individual to restrict their ability to access online wagering services either temporarily or permanently. It is a proactive step taken by individuals who recognise that they want to take a break from online wagering to regain control over their wagering behaviour.
9.4 Dabble Sports provides the ability for Customers to exclude themselves from being able to deposit or bet with their Account either permanently or for a set period of time (options include 1 day, 7 days, 14 days, 21 days, 1 month, 90 days, 1 year, 2 years).
9.5 Having taken the steps to self-exclude from an online wagering operator, the person who has self-excluded has made a commitment to refrain from wagering with that operator. It is their responsibility to adhere to the self-exclusion agreement and avoid opening a new account or an attempt to bypass the self-exclusion restrictions that have been put in place.
9.6 Dabble Sports makes every reasonable effort to prevent self-excluded Customers from returning and using the Dabble Sports Applications during their period of self-exclusion, including systems to verify the identity of customers and cross-referencing these details with GamStop (the UK’s national self-exclusion register) to ensure a self-excluded customer cannot open or re-open an account during their self-exclusion period.
9.7 Dabble Sports provides pre-commitment facilities to help you control your spend which can be accessed via the Account section of the Dabble Sports Applications. This restricts the total level of Account deposits to a set amount for a specified rolling period (1 day, 7 days, 30 days).
9.8 As a responsible bookmaker Dabble Sports offers you the ability to control the amount you bet by setting a limit on the amount you can deposit to your Account per day, week or month (a deposit limit). While requests to decrease limits will be put in place immediately, any request to increase (or remove) your deposit limit is subject to a cooling-off period of at least seven days before the increase (or removal) is put in place and becomes effective on your Account.
9.9 If Dabble Sports discovers or determines, acting reasonably, that you have deliberately circumvented responsible gambling controls (e.g. by opening a Duplicate Account) and placed bets while you are self-excluded, or while registered with GamStop, the following will occur.
9.9.1 open/pending Transactions (including any winnings) will be void and the original stake/s will be returned to your Account;
9.9.2 any bonus bets will be void;
9.9.3 the balance of your Account will be returned to you; and
9.9.4 you will be fully liable for your actions, and for all activity and Transactions placed on your Account.
9.10 In addition to clause 9.9, if Dabble Sports discovers or determines, acting reasonably, that your Account has been accessed while subject to a self-exclusion restriction, all resulted or pending bets made during the self-exclusion period will become void and stakes returned to the relevant bank account.
9.11 Dabble is entitled at any time to place enforced actions or limits on your Account in response to red-flag behaviours detected on your Account or in response to a responsible gambling review of your Account. These actions may include, but are not limited to, the application of deposit limits, temporary self-exclusion or permanent self-exclusion applied to your Account.
9.12 If you register your name and details with GamStop (the UK’s national self-exclusion register) you are responsible for ensuring all your Account details including your full legal name, address, email address and mobile phone number are truthful and accurately match those that you registered with GamStop.
9.13 Dabble will take all reasonable steps to give effect to your self-exclusion, however this is dependent on the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide us matching with the information you have provided GamStop.
9.14 We will take steps to match your Account details with those registered on GamStop and ensure your Account is closed so you can no longer access your Account or place a bet during your period of self-exclusion.
9.15 If the personal details you registered with GamStop are different to the personal details you registered with Dabble to set up an Account, you must notify us immediately so we can update our records and close your Account in accordance with your GamStop self-exclusion.
9.16 Dabble implements reasonable checks and safeguards to ensure that you cannot access our Dabble Sports Applications whilst you have an active self-exclusion via GamStop. However, we will not be liable to you or any third party (including for any losses) if, whilst you are self-excluded via GamStop, you continue to gamble using our Dabble Sports Applications where:
You have sought to work around a GamStop self-exclusion by using different details or by registering Duplicate Account/s with us;
Where you have changed any of the registration details or inputted your details in a different manner to the way they were registered as part of your self-exclusion agreement;
If you continue to gamble with us between your self-exclusion registration with GamStop and us receiving notification and applying such self-exclusion on our Dabble Sports Applications; or
For any other reason outside of our reasonable control, including where the operating systems utilised by GamStop fail to identify you and/or your online accounts as being subject to self-exclusion when you attempt to use our Dabble Sports Applications.
9.17 Please also see GamStop’s Terms of Use at: https://www.gamstop.co.uk/terms-of-use.
10. Deposits and Protection of Your Funds
10.1 Deposits into an Account can be made by means of a debit card, bank transfer or Pay ID that is linked to a bank account, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
10.2 We are entitled to remove or add payment options from time to time. The currently accepted payment options will be displayed on the Website from time to time.
10.3 If we discover or suspect (acting reasonably) that funds deposited into your Account are not from a funding instrument in your name, are not expressly authorised to be used by you, are not being deposited for the purpose of genuine betting, or in some other way are being made or used in connection with a Prohibited Activity, we are entitled to decline the deposit and return the funds to the original payment method. If you have engaged in any Prohibited Activity, we will also have the rights explained in clause 14 below.
10.4 If we determine that there is not enough information to prove the identity of the owner of a card, we are entitled to request certified documentation as proof of ownership.
10.5 We are entitled to check directly with your funding institution to confirm that the details provided by you to Dabble Sports are valid and correct.
10.6 If we determine, acting reasonably, that a deposit into an Account may cause us to contravene our legal and regulatory obligations, we are entitled to cancel and refund the deposit.
10.7 Subject to clause 10.8, we do not charge Customers for making any deposits into their Account.
10.8 We are entitled to pass on any Transaction third-party processing fees to you if we determine, acting reasonably, that deposits have been made into your Account in connection with or for the purposes of engaging in a Prohibited Activity.
10.9 You agree that as the Account holder, you are the only person permitted to use your Account (including accessing, betting with, depositing funds into, and withdrawing funds from your Account). Third-party bank account holders or card holders must not transact on an Account that has not been registered in their name and using their identification details. You must use your own or joint deposit and withdrawal methods.
10.10 Dabble Sports only accepts deposits in pound sterling. Any figures in your Account are displayed in pound sterling.
10.11 In accordance with its licencing conditions, Dabble Sports maintains customer funds in a separate bank account that is segregated from daily operational funds and which contains sufficient funds to match Customer balances and future bets in the event of insolvency. This arrangement meets the GCGB’s requirements for the protection of customer funds at the level: medium protection. For more information, click here.
11. Chargebacks
You agree and warrant (i.e., promise) that no “charge backs”, “denials”, “reversals”, "return" notifications or other cancellation of deposits will be made relating to your Account without our prior written consent. If you dispute a financial transaction on your Account relating to a third-party (e.g. a bank), Dabble Sports may temporarily suspend your Account while the matter is investigated.
12. Withdrawals
12.1 Withdrawals from an Account can be made to:
(a) the same payment card or method used to make deposits into the Account, where that method supports withdrawals; or
(b) a UK bank account held in the same name as the Account holder, where (i) the depositing payment method does not support withdrawals; or (ii) the Customer is otherwise unable to withdraw back to the original deposit method.
12.2 You may withdraw any cleared real money balance in your Account at any time, provided that:
All payments made into your Account have been confirmed as cleared and have not been charged-back, reversed or otherwise cancelled;
We have completed our Verification Checks to our reasonable satisfaction (see clause 6 above). Where we have requested information from you to carry out these Verification Checks, any delay in providing this information may cause delay when withdrawing funds;
We are not required to withhold payments of your deposit and/or winnings by applicable law or regulation and/or have not been instructed to do so by a regulator; and
There is currently no ongoing, or completed (save where completed and decided in your favour), investigation:
(a) Into an Error, Interruption or Malfunction (as those terms are defined in clause 20 below) involving any aspect of the Dabble Sports Applications which you have used; or
(b) Where we have reasonable grounds to believe you have engaged in a Prohibited Activity (defined in clause 13.2 below) which would entitle us to withhold funds in accordance with clause 14.5 below, and in the case of (a) and (b) above, you acknowledge and understand that, as we made clear in the “Important Information” section at the beginning of these General T&Cs, we are ultimately entitled to void any affected Transactions, withhold funds (including any winnings) and (in the case of illegal or Prohibited Activities) suspend and, ultimately, close your Account.
12.3 Closed Loop Withdrawal Model
Dabble Sports operates a Closed Loop payments model. This means withdrawals will normally be processed back to the same payment method(s) you used to deposit into your Account, wherever that method supports withdrawals.
12.4 Where the original deposit method does not support withdrawals (for example, some card types or third-party services), we will arrange for your withdrawal to be paid to an alternative payment method or to your verified UK bank account. You may be required to provide documentary evidence (such as bank statements or payment method details) to verify ownership.
12.5 Dabble Sports does not allow a bank account to be linked to more than one Dabble Account. The bank account must be in the same name of the Account holder.
12.6 We do not charge Customers for withdrawals. However, card holders may incur a banking fee from their own banking institution on withdrawing funds from Dabble Sports, and it is the card holder’s responsibility to pay any such fee.
13. Prohibited Activities Including Fraud
13.1 You may only use the Dabble Sports Applications, including your Account, for lawful gambling purposes in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. You must not engage in any activity which we define below as a “Prohibited Activity” and you acknowledge and understand that the consequences of you doing so will (depending on the specific circumstances) include the voiding of any relevant Transactions, the withholding of any attributable winnings, and the suspension and/or closure of your Account.
13.2 The following activities are each defined as a “Prohibited Activity”:
Any form of fraudulent, unlawful or illegal activity, collusion, cheating;
If the name registered on your Account does not match the name on the payment method used to make deposits to your Account;
Abuse of any Promotions and/or any other breach of the Promotional Terms;
If you use the Dabble Sports Applications other than for your own personal and recreational use;
If you are depositing money into your Account which originates from criminal and/or other illegal activities;
If you become bankrupt;
If you use more than one device to access a single Account in contravention of our device usage policy (see clause 16 below);
If you appear in our reasonable judgement to be depositing or withdrawing money or otherwise using the Dabble Sports Applications without genuine gameplay;
If you are resident or located in any territory outside of the United Kingdom, including if you are using a VPN to disguise your location;
If we have received a “charge back”, “denial”, “reversal” and/or "return" notification via a deposit mechanism used on your Account;
If you knowingly exploit, or intentionally seek to exploit, a market or a Rule (including by deception);
If you seek to manipulate the outcome of a market (whether or not for personal gain);
If you receive an unjust advantage from information which is not known to the public;
If you breach any applicable laws in connection with your Account or your use of the Dabble Sports Applications;
If you deliberately or fraudulently provide incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information while registering for an Account or afterwards (except where you provide any incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information in order to pass relevant age-verification checks, which situation will be dealt with as described in clause 6.9 above);
If you allow or enable someone else to use your Account including by making payments into your Account;
If you have deliberately or fraudulently opened or are using one or more Duplicate Account/s;
If you are prohibited from entering into a Transaction by any term of your contract of employment, this Agreement, or any rule of a sport governing body or other professional body of which you are a member and which applies to you;
If you breach the rights, including the intellectual property rights, of Dabble Sports or any third party;
If you engage in inappropriate conduct, which includes harassment, abusive or threatening behaviour, defamation, discrimination or incitement of violence, towards other users of the Dabble Sports Applications and/or our staff members or representatives;
If you do anything which harms, or interferes with, the operation of the Dabble Sports Applications, including introducing viruses or other forms of malicious technology or software, spamming, phishing or scraping; or
If you seriously breach the Agreement in some other way.
13.3 Dabble Sports may employ third-party technologies to track and store technical information on the device that Customers choose to use when accessing the Dabble Sports Applications. Customers accept that this data may be used to reach decisions on investigations where Accounts have been operated in a manner which is contrary to this Agreement including engagement in any Prohibited Activity.
13.4 Dabble Sports may periodically review Accounts to monitor any activity that it might consider unusual.
13.5 You agree to compensate us for any costs, charges or losses sustained or incurred by us arising from any Prohibited Activities on your part.
14. Limitation / Suspension / Closure of Your Account by Us
14.1 We may close, limit, or suspend your Account at any time. We will notify you reasonably in advance of any such action on our part, except where we discover or suspect (acting reasonably) that you have engaged in a Prohibited Activity, in which case such action may take effect without notice following the process set out below.
14.2 If we have reasonable grounds to suspect that you have engaged in any Prohibited Activity, we will limit or suspend your Account without notification, and your Account will remain restricted/suspended while the matter is investigated. You agree to cooperate fully with any such investigation. Your funds cannot be accessed or withdrawn during periods of suspension, and any balance will remain in the Account. We will use reasonable efforts to undertake our investigation within a reasonable period, but you acknowledge that any delay on your part to respond to our information or other requests will affect our ability to do so.
14.3 If our investigation results in our decision (acting reasonably) that the issue has been resolved to our satisfaction, we will lift the Account suspension. If our investigation results in our decision (acting reasonably) that you have engaged in any Prohibited Activity, we will restrict or permanently close your Account. In these circumstances, your details may be passed on to any applicable regulatory authority or any other relevant external third parties.
14.4 We may also from time to time be required to restrict, suspend or close Accounts for legal or regulatory reasons, including where we are required to do so by a competent authority and/or the terms of our licence. Such actions, if applicable, may affect your use of your Account.
14.5 If we close your Account, any positive real money balance in your Account at the time of such closure by us will be paid back to you, except that:
If you have engaged in illegal activity, we are under no obligation to refund to you any money that may be in your Account; and
If we discover or determine (acting reasonably) that you have participated in any Prohibited Activity then we will withhold all or part of the Account balance and/or void or recover from your Account deposits, pay-outs, Promotions, and/or any winnings (if/as applicable) in each case to the extent attributable to such Prohibited Activity.

Failure or delay by us to provide the Dabble Sports Applications or to meet any of our obligations under this Agreement to the extent that such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control.
17.3 Subject always to clause 17.1 above:
We do not promise that the Dabble Sports Applications will have uninterrupted availability or that they will be free of bugs, viruses or Errors, Interruptions or Malfunctions. Access to the Dabble Sports Applications may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance, repair or for reasons beyond our reasonable control; and

17.5 Dabble Sports’ products and bet types are intended for bona fide Customers, that is, those Customers who act in good faith, sincerely, without fraud or malicious intent, and who place a bet with Dabble Sports for the purpose of personal recreation and entertainment.
17.6 Dabble Sports is entitled to determine that a Customer is not eligible for
certain products, services, markets, bet types or Promotions.
17.7 Where you have been referred to Dabble Sports by a third party including by a third party operated website and where that third party is an affiliate or agent of Dabble Sports, you acknowledge that Dabble Sports may make commission payments to that third party. Payments to agents or affiliates are unrelated to the odds offered to Customers by Dabble Sports.
18. Bet Placement and Acceptance
18.1 All bets on your Account are considered to be placed and received in the UK.
18.2 Dabble Sports does not represent or warrant that any Transaction by a Customer on their Account or the acceptance of any Transaction on an Account by Dabble Sports complies with the legal requirements of any jurisdiction outside of the UK. You assume full responsibility for complying with all applicable legal and regulatory obligations imposed in your jurisdiction, including in relation to:
18.2.1 opening an Account with Dabble Sports;
18.2.2 depositing funds to your Account;
18.2.3 placing bets with Dabble Sports; and
18.2.4 receiving winnings from Dabble Sports.
18.3 Dabble Sports is entitled to refuse any Transaction request or part of a Transaction request without providing a reason or advance notification. The most common circumstances in which we may refuse your Transaction request include (but are not limited to):
18.3.1 you are, or we suspect that you may be, less than 18 years of age (and see clause 6.9 above for what other actions we will take if we discover (after you've opened an Account) that you are under 18 years of age);
18.3.2 you are, or we suspect that you may be, betting on behalf of or in concert with a person who is less than 18 years of age;
18.3.3 you are, or we suspect that you may be, in breach of this Agreement;
18.3.4 you are, or we suspect that you may be, in breach of any applicable law; or
18.3.5 your proposed Transaction would present an unacceptable liability risk to our business (and the question of whether there is an unacceptable liability risk to us for the purpose of this clause is determined at Dabble Sports’ sole discretion).
18.4 Dabble Sports is entitled to impose limits on your Account (including limits on any Dabble Sports product or market that a Customer may wish to bet on), without providing reasons. In this event, we will honour any outstanding Transaction made pursuant to the Account, unless your Account has been used for any fraudulent transaction or other Prohibited Activity, in which case we may take the actions explained in clause 14 below.
18.5 When you are making a Transaction on your Account via the internet, it is accepted once you submit the Transaction and a receipt number (i.e. Bet ID) is issued.
18.6 Please carefully check the details of your Transaction before you submit it. You are unable to change or cancel a Transaction once it has been accepted by Dabble Sports as described in clause 18.5 above.
18.7 The minimum bet on the Dabble Sports Applications is GBP £0.01.
19. Bet Settlement
19.1 If there is any inconsistency between these this clause 19 and rules applying to a specific event or race, the specific event or race rules will prevail, to the extent of the inconsistency.
19.2 If an event or series of events occurs beyond the reasonable control of Dabble Sports including an epidemic, pandemic, natural disaster, act of war, terrorism, riot, labour disruption or other cause that materially impacts any sporting or racing fixture which is the subject of a betting market offered by Dabble Sports, Dabble Sports may (acting reasonably) refund, restrict or otherwise alter any affected Transaction or adjust the payout (in whole or in part) of the affected Transaction(s) placed on the relevant betting market.
19.3 Where a sports governing body makes a material change to the structure of a fixture or season and Dabble Sports considers that such a change will have a material impact on a betting market on or related to that fixture or season (including where the venue or a fixture has been changed), all Transaction on affected markets may be refunded, restricted or have their payout adjusted (in whole or in part) by Dabble Sports at its discretion. All affected Transaction (including legs of multi-bets or accumulators) will be recalculated accordingly.
19.4 Clauses 19.4.1 to 19.4.3 together are known as the “Dead Heat Rule” and are used to determine payouts in certain circumstances where more than one winner is declared in a betting market.
19.4.1 In the event of a tie, draw or dead heat where no ‘tie’, 'draw' or ‘dead heat’ option was offered by Dabble Sports within a betting market, wagers will be paid at face value of the ticket (odds multiplied by the stake) divided by the number of competitors drawing for that placing, unless otherwise stated in the rules of that market.
19.4.2 In the event for which each-way betting is available, place ties will be paid such that the place portion of the face value of the ticket is multiplied by the remaining number of places available and divided by the number of competitors tying for those available number of placings.
19.4.3 In the event of a tie or dead heat where ‘tie’, 'draw' or ‘dead heat’ options (or equivalent) were offered by Dabble Sports, then all bets on the ‘tie’, 'draw' or ‘dead heat’ option will be paid out as winning bets and all bets on other options will be settled as losing bets. Where a draw option is offered, the bet is decided on the result at the end of normal time for all sports unless stated otherwise.
19.5 'All-In' means that regardless of whether or not a particular competitor or team or member of a team starts or completes the event on which a bet is placed, all bets stand and no refunds will be payable for non-participants.
19.6 As explained in the “Important Information” section at the top of these General T&Cs, maximum payout limits apply to the Dabble Sports Applications. The maximum payout by Dabble Sports to any one individual or entity on a fixed odds single or multi-bet / accumulator-bet on any of the sports or other events listed in these General T&Cs and/or the Rules is limited to £100,000. Should you place multi-bets / accumulator-bets that are similar to each other with respect to the legs in them, that would (absent the maximum payout limit) result in the total payout of those bets exceeding £100,000, Dabble Sports will amend the payout of the multi-bets / accumulator-bets to bring the total payout to £100,000.
19.7 In-play betting: where we have reason to believe that a Transaction is placed after the outcome of an event is known, or after the selected participant or team has gained a material advantage (e.g. a score, sending off for the other team, etc.) we are entitled to void the Transaction, win or lose.
19.8 If official results are adjusted after a sporting or racing event ends, Dabble is entitled to adjust resulted outcomes accordingly to ensure accuracy in resulting based on the updated official outcomes of the sporting or racing event.
20. Errors, Malfunctions and Interruptions
20.1 Dabble Sports endeavours to ensure that no errors are made in setting markets, including but not limited to errors in prices offered, available selections offered, Transactions accepted on an Account or any errors in exclusions for certain selections. However, we cannot guarantee that the Dabble Sports Applications will at all times perform correctly. Various kinds of mistakes and errors can occur – technical, human and otherwise – and you understand and agree that we can only provide the Dabble Sports Applications to you, and you must accept them, in the condition that we make them available from time to time.
20.2 In this clause 20, we set out a description of the things that can go wrong and the rights that we have in such events.
20.3 Below are some key definitions to help you understand this clause:
20.4 An “Error” refers to a mistake or error that is not exclusively technical, for example the mistaken posting of incorrect odds, the offer of incorrect prices or terms for participation in a promotion or gambling opportunity. Errors can arise from human mistakes, administrative, operational or systems failures and combinations of all of these. For example, a bet might be offered mistakenly at a price that is substantially out of the market or a promotion designed to offer a £5 return might mistakenly advertise a £50 return or the pay-tables advertised for a product may mistakenly fail to reflect the true payment configuration of the product. Examples of an Error include:
20.4.1 The price struck for a bet is materially greater than a price historically offered on the same or a similar market by Dabble Sports or a competitor bookmaker;
20.4.2 There is an error in the price of at least one selection which forms part of a multiple bet, the combined effect of which results in a materially erroneous price;
20.4.3 The available selection(s) on a market are so different from the selection(s) historically offered on the same or a similar market by Dabble Sports or a competitor bookmaker; or
20.4.4 A person with a good understanding of sports wagering would reasonably understand that there was an error in a relevant market or in the acceptance of the bet.
A “Malfunction” refers to where an automated process fails to operate as designed or intended, for example where a piece of computer software produces a deviation from its intended performance specifications or parameters, or where two pieces of software fail to interface or communicate with each other in the manner intended or designed, in either case so as to produce a result which is not the result that was intended or designed. These malfunctions may or may not be apparent to us or to you and they may only come to light as and when settlement instructions, game outcomes, winnings or cashouts are investigated and analysed retrospectively.
An “Interruption” refers to an interruption in a gambling transaction for any reason, for example an interruption caused by the failure of the internet or connectivity, or severe latency in communications, or technical failure due to some disaster or unforeseen event.
20.5 Where any of the above occur, we will deal with them as described below and it is important that you understand and agree to the following before you use the Dabble Sports Applications, as we made clear in the “Important Information” section at the top of these General T&Cs: Malfunctions and Errors
20.6 If as a result of a Malfunction or Error, your Account is credited with winnings that you would not have received were it not for that Malfunction or Error, we will have the right to void the relevant Transaction and withhold the relevant winnings. This applies even if the relevant gambling product could have produced the same or similar amount of winnings without the intervention of the Malfunction or Error and it applies whether the Malfunction or Error was apparent to you or to us or not. If you have withdrawn any such winnings, you agree that you will pay them back to us as and when we ask you to.
20.7 Where any Malfunction or Error is or becomes apparent or obvious to you or you suspect that a Malfunction or Error may be occurring, you agree that you will cease your use of the relevant Dabble Sports Application(s) immediately, and will report it to our customer services immediately (see clause 22 below for how to get in touch).
Interruptions
20.8 Our priority is to ensure that we deal with Interruptions in a way that is fair and does not systematically disadvantage our Customers.
20.9 In relation to betting affected by an Interruption, we are entitled to suspend betting markets, void Transactions and return stakes to Customers.
20.10 Where a bet is voided by Dabble Sports prior to an event commencing, Dabble Sports will endeavour to contact you promptly to inform you that the bet has been voided.
20.11 For the purpose of this clause 20:
20.11.1 A “bet” includes a single bet or a multiple bet (i.e. accumulator); and
20.11.2 If the erroneous price or selection is part of a multiple bet placed by a Customer, the multiple bet will be either re-calculated at adjusted prices or by excluding the event to which the error relates, at Dabble Sports’ absolute discretion.
21. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
21.1 If you wish to make a complaint, or if you have a dispute with Dabble Sports, please contact us via email at [email protected] or by calling us using the contact information provided on the Website.
21.2 If any dispute between you and Dabble Sports cannot be resolved following completion of our internal disputes process or if we cannot resolve it within eight (8) weeks, you can refer the dispute to an external alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider (such as the Independent Betting Adjudication Service: https://ibas-uk.com/ or the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution: https://www.cedr.com). A dispute must be lodged with us within six months of the date the relevant incident. If a dispute is lodged outside of this period, an application for “out of time” consideration should accompany lodgement of the dispute.
21.3 Dabble Sports will make a voice recording of all telephone calls with Customers when they are requesting customer support, making a complaint or making a query regarding their Account. You agree to such recordings being made. Where a dispute occurs which cannot be resolved between you and Dabble Sports, you agree that the recording(s) and any records of your transactions via the Dabble Sports Applications may be made available to the adjudicator of the dispute to enable the dispute to be determined in accordance with this Agreement. All records of voice recordings will be securely retained by us in accordance with our privacy obligations for regulatory purposes.
21.4 Dabble’s full dispute resolution policy, covering the internal and external complaints procedure can be found on our Website.

23. Multi / Accumulator Bets
23.1 A multi-bet or accumulator (“Multi” or “Acca”) is a bet that combines multiple selections (also called ‘legs’) into the Acca. Standard Accas are calculated by multiplying the odds/price of each leg of the Acca to determine to total dividend. To be considered a winning Acca, each leg of the Acca must win.
For example:
Leg 1: EPL H2H @ 2/1
Leg 2: EPL H2H @ 4/1
Leg 3: A golfer in the British Open to win @ 5/1
Leg 4: Horse to win the Grand National @ 3/1
Total dividend = (2/1 x 4/1 x 5/1 x 3/1) = 359/1
A total stake of £2 x total dividend (359/1) placed on this four-leg accumulator would result in a potential payout of £720.
23.2 Accumulators that include a same-game bet builder (“Bet Builder)” as one of the legs are treated like a standard accumulator and are subject to the same terms and conditions below.
23.3 For the avoidance of doubt, any accumulator that contains a Bet Builder as one of the legs of the accumulator will operate in the same way as a standard accumulator. The Bet Builder bet becomes one of the accumulator "legs".
The legs within the Bet Builder all need to win for the Bet Builder "leg" to be marked as a winner.
For example:
Leg 1: NBA Bet Builder @ 5/1
Selection 1: Player A to score 20+ points
Selection 2: Player B to have 10+ rebounds
Leg 2: NFL Bet Builder @ 3/1
Selection 1: NFL H2H
Selection 2: Match Totals Under
Leg 3: EPL Bet Builder @ 11/1
Selection 1: EPL H2H
Selection 2: Player C to score 1+ Goals
Total dividend = (5/1 x 3/1 x 11/1) = 287/1
A total stake of £10 x total dividend (287/1) placed on this accumulator would result in a potential payout of £2,880. The accumulator price is determined by multiplying the odds of each Bet Builder in the accumulator. If any of the SGM "legs" lose, the accumulator loses.
23.4 If one leg within a Bet Builder is void/refunded, we treat that SGM "leg" as void, and recalculate the overall Multi price by removing that voided "leg" price, as soon as practicable.
23.5 Should one leg in a accumulator be refunded due to the rules that apply to that leg’s market, the total odds are recalculated excluding that leg. The revised accumulator will be displayed in the betslip with the new total dividend (price) and potential payout. If all legs of the accumulator are voided/refunded, then the entire accumulator will be refunded.
23.6 Accumulators are not accepted where the outcome of one part of the bet contributes or is related to the outcome of another (related outcomes). If such bets are inadvertently accepted, Dabble Sports is entitled to declare the whole Accumulator void and will refund the bet.
23.7 In the event of a dead heat in one or more accumulator legs, the standard Dead Heat Rules apply.
23.8 Dabble accumulators and multiple bets are subject to Dabble’s Maximum Win Limits outlined in the General Sport Rules.
24. Intellectual Property
24.1 You acknowledge and agree that the Dabble Sports Applications contain material which is owned by, or licensed to, us which is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws including, without limitation, trademarks, wordmarks, trading names, logos and software (“Dabble IP”).
24.2 Nothing in the Agreement constitutes a transfer of ownership of the Dabble IP to you or a grant of a licence to you without Dabble Sports’ prior written consent.
24.3 You acknowledge and agree that you will not infringe on the Dabble IP or seek to reproduce or store, copy, change, upload, republish or transmit the Dabble IP without our prior written consent.
24.4 We may make certain features available to you that allow you to generate content on the Dabble Sports Applications (“Customer Content”). You acknowledge and agree that Dabble Sports may use the Customer Content to promote Dabble to the public where this content is deemed public information as per the Privacy Policy.
24.5 We may be obliged to prevent suspend or otherwise restrict your access to the Dabble Sports Applications, in whole or in part, because of circumstances outside of our control, including amendments to our legal and regulatory obligations. If possible, we will provide you with prior notice of any change to your ability to access the Dabble Sports Applications in these circumstances.
25. Other Important Legal Terms
25.1 This Agreement is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales.
25.2 You and we submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales provided that this choice of venue will not override your right to bring proceedings in your home courts (if different from England & Wales).
25.3 If any part of this Agreement is disallowed or found to be ineffective by any court or regulator, the other provisions will continue to apply.
25.4 Our decision not to exercise any right or power in this Agreement does not cause a waiver of that right or power.
25.5 We may transfer our rights and/or obligations under this Agreement to another organisation at any time. Without limiting the preceding sentence, we may wish to transfer our rights or obligations under this Agreement to another company within our corporate group or any other legal entity, including if we restructure or there is a sale of our business. You agree that we may do so provided that in the case of such a transfer, after we notify you of the date on which such transfer takes place, your rights under this Agreement will be against the new legal entity.
25.6 This Agreement is personal to you. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under this Agreement to anyone else.
25.7 This Agreement is not intended to give rights to anyone except you and us. This does not affect our rights under clause 25.5 above.
26. Dabble Promotions
26.1 We may offer certain promotions, bonuses, rewards, give-aways, prizes and other offers from time to time (“Promotions”). All Promotions are subject to the terms of this Agreement, which, as explained in clause 1.3 above, includes the Standard Promotional Terms.
26.2 We may prevent the take-up of new Promotions and/or the completion of Promotions for regulatory reasons including those relating to safer gambling.
