PLEASE NOTE: Dabble verification can only be completed from within the Dabble App!

Why do I need to verify my identity?

Dabble is required to verify all our customer accounts before allowing any real money activity. This forms part of our KYC (Know Your Customer) and Anti-Money Laundering obligation and can be completed within our app in just a few minutes.

Additionally, Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) may be required in cases of account suspensions or security reviews. This involves submitting additional documents, such as bank statements or proof of payment methods, to comply with regulatory obligations.

Please be aware that Dabble permits only one account per user. If you’re experiencing trouble accessing your existing Dabble account, kindly contact our team at [email protected], and we’ll gladly assist you.


Account Verification, and what that means to you

Upon opening your account, it’s necessary to verify your identity. If you encounter difficulty completing this process successfully, your Dabble account will remain inactive for deposit, withdraw and bet placement until this is complete.



How do I verify my account?

To verify your account, Dabble will attempt to verify your details automatically upon the opening of your Dabble account. This is done via a 3rd party verification system, using the information you have provided on sign up.

Usually, this step is enough to verify your identification and nothing further is required. However, if this automated check is unsuccessful, you will be required to upload identification and a selfie to verify your identity through the App.

This process is completed directly in the app and only takes a few minutes.

Follow these steps below to verify your account using the Dabble app:


Step 1: Start Verification

Tap Verify Now in the top-right corner of the app, then select Continue to Secure Upload to begin.





Step 2: Provide consent

You’ll be asked to consent to verifying your identity using:

  • a valid photo ID, and

  • a selfie

Review the information on screen and confirm to continue.








Step 3: Select your ID type

Choose the type of identification you’re uploading from the issuing country. Accepted documents include:

  • Passport

  • Driving licence

  • Residence permit

Make sure the document is valid and has not expired.

For address verification, you may also need to submit a recent bank statement, utility bill, or official tax document (dated within the last three months).




Step 4: Upload your ID

Take clear photos of your ID and ensure:

  • All details are clearly visible and readable

  • The image is not blurry or reflective

  • The entire document is in frame





Step 5: Take a selfie

You’ll then be asked to take a selfie to confirm your identity.

Before taking your photo:

  • Remove glasses, sunglasses, or any head coverings that may obscure your face

  • Use a well-lit area with a plain background (such as a blank wall)

  • Make sure your face is fully visible and in focus




Step 6: Verification review

Once your ID and selfie have been successfully uploaded, you’ll see a confirmation screen letting you know your verification request has been submitted.

Your verification will then show as Pending, which means your documents are securely in the queue to be reviewed by our Verification Team.

Verification is usually completed within 24 hours, but in some cases, it may take up to 24–48 hours depending on the volume of requests.


You’ll receive an email once:

  • your verification is complete, or

  • we need any additional information from you





If you’re asked to upload your documents again

If you’ve uploaded your documents but don’t see your verification status update to “Verification Pending”, or you’re prompted to upload your documents again, this may indicate that your submission didn’t complete successfully.

In this situation:

  • Do not continue re-uploading your documents

  • Take screenshots of what you’re seeing in the app

  • Contact our Support Team so we can review this for you and assist further

Important information about verification


Account verification is a mandatory requirement to access certain features of the Dabble app and to comply with regulatory requirements.

If we’re unable to verify your account, you may be restricted from using parts of the app, including placing bets, depositing, or withdrawing funds.

For security and regulatory reasons, we’re unable to provide detailed insight into our internal verification checks or review outcomes. In some cases, verification decisions may be final.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does verification take?

Verification is usually completed within a short timeframe. In some cases, it may take up to 24–48 hours. You’ll receive an email once your verification has been completed or if we need anything further from you.



Can I use a foreign ID document for verification?

Yes, foreign identification documents can be accepted if they’re issued by an eligible country.

When starting verification, you’ll be asked to select the country that issued your document. If your issuing country appears in the dropdown list, you can proceed with uploading that document for verification. All documents must be valid and not expired.

If your issuing country isn’t available in the list, we’re unfortunately unable to accept documents from that country at this time.

If you’re unsure which document to use or need help completing verification, please contact our Support Team, and we’ll be happy to assist.

Can I complete verification through Live Chat or Support?

No. For security and privacy reasons, verification can’t be completed through Live Chat or by sending documents directly to Support unless specifically requested.

If verification is required, you’ll either be prompted to complete it securely in the app, or you’ll receive an email with instructions if further checks are needed.

How do I know my documents were uploaded successfully?

If your upload is successful, you’ll see a confirmation screen in the app and your verification status will update to Verification Pending while your documents are reviewed.

I’ve uploaded my documents but I’m being asked to upload them again — what should I do?

If you don’t see your status change to Verification Pending, or you’re prompted to upload your documents again, this may mean the upload didn’t complete successfully.

In this case:

  • Don’t keep re-uploading your documents

  • Try un-installing & re-installing your app to ensure you're on the latest version

  • Take screenshots of what you’re seeing

  • Contact our Support Team so we can assist further

Can I use the app while my verification is pending?

While your verification is pending, you can still browse the app and explore certain features, however you won't be able to place any bets. Once your verification is approved, you’ll be able to deposit and place bets.

I've been verified but haven't received my Welcome Offer - What should I do?

Getting verified is a great first step, but verification alone doesn't unlock the Welcome Offer.

To receive £20 in Free Bets + 2 Rocket Odds Boosts, you also need to:

  • Place a single real-money bet of £5 or more within 7 days of registering

Once a qualifying bet has been placed, your Free Bets and Rocket Odds Boosts will be credited within 24 hours.

Before reaching out to us, it's worth checking the following:

  • That you've placed a single £5+ real-money bet (not a free bet, voided, or cashed-out bet)

  • Your Free Bets section in the app - rewards appear here once credited

  • Try logging out and back in to refresh your balance
