Quaddie

What is a Quaddie?

A Quaddie, also known as 'Quadrella' requires you to pick the winners of four nominated races at the same meeting. All four selections must win. You can choose one runner per race, or include multiple runners in each leg to increase your chances.

How do I build a Quaddie bet?

  • Quaddies are available on Thoroughbred meetings in Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Ireland, Great Britain, and France, and on Greyhound meetings in Australia and Great Britain.

  • Tap the “Quaddie” bet type on the racecard – this can be found inside of the Exotic bet types above the Runners

  • Select at least one runner in each leg of the Quaddie

  • Add to betslip, review your bet carefully. When you're ready, tap Place Bet, then Confirm Bet to submit.

How do you work out the Potential Payout?

We will payout your Dabble Quaddies based on the Dabble Div declared dividends. Check more to how this is calculated here.

Dabble Quadie FAQs

One/some of my selections have been Scratched. What happens now?

  • For each Scratched selection, you will be awarded the “Substitute”. Should you have multiple scratched selections in the same race, you be awarded that same substitute again.

  • The Substitute is the designated race favourite at the close of betting. If there are equal favourites, the lowest saddlecloth/rug number will be designated the Substitute. E.G. of Horse 2 and Horse 10 are equal favourites at 1.5/1, Horse 2 will be chosen as the designated Substitute due to the lower saddlecloth number.

  • If your Quaddie bet is eventually a winner, you can have multiple winning combinations if you have been awarded the substitute multiple times in the race. Any original selections that turn out to be the substitute for that race will also be considered towards a winning combination. If you have 2 winning combinations, you will be paid two times the dividend x your stake-per-combo.

For example, if the dividend paid 49/1, and you had 100% (£1 unit stake), and due to a scratching, you had been awarded a substitute that had won the race, you’ll receive this same payout again. It is worked out as:

  • £1 x 49/1 = $50 for the first combination

  • £1 x 49/1 = £50 for the combination with your ‘substitute’ included.

  • Payout = £50 + £50 = £100 in this example

There was a Dead Heat in one of the Quaddie legs. What happens now?

  • Both winners of the race contribute towards a valid winning combination.

  • The Quaddie dividend will be divided by the number of winning combinations and reflected as such in any winning bet payouts.

One or more of my Quaddie legs was abandoned. What happens now?

  • Your bet will stand, and the combinations from the abandoned race/s are removed from your bet. For your bet to be a winner, you must have the winner in each of the remaining legs.

  • If all races of the Quaddie are abandoned, your bet will be refunded.

My selection was protested against, and it was upheld. What happens to my bet?

  • We do offer a Protest Payout for our Quaddie product on UK and Irish Thoroughbred Racing. This is for upheld protesting, occuring on the final leg of the Quaddie only. (Terms and Conditions apply, see here for more information)

  • The Protest Payout is capped at a payout of £5,000
