23.1 Specific Politics Rules

23.1.1 Politics rules equivalent to those below apply to betting on any international

election or political betting market. Initial officially declared election results will stand,

and any subsequent legal or constitutional challenges will not affect settlement or

markets. We may with-hold settlement at our discretion until any recounts and reruns

have been finalized.

23.1.2 Politics bets, combining any election results from the same country will not be

allowed.

23.1.3 Bets on the general election winner will be settled on the political party which

gains the most seats in parliament, unless otherwise stated.

23.1.4 If we offer a market on a political position, for example next Prime Minister or

next Speaker, then bet settlement will be based on the next person to permanently fill

the role. Interim / temporary appointments will not count for settlement purposes,

unless otherwise stated.

23.1.5 If there is a merger of two or more of the listed parties, or parties / candidates

agree to run together prior to an election, then bets on markets involving those parties, which have been struck prior to the announcement, will be void.

23.1.6 Seat totals for each party will be settled as declared by the agency in charge of organizing, conducting and supervising the election, following the declaration of all seats.

23.1.7 When betting is offered on Next Party Leaders/Next Prime Minister/ Next

President or equivalent, odds are offered based on "all in, run or not" unless otherwise stated. No stakes will be refunded for reasons of ineligibility, failure to stand, withdrawal, or any other eventuality

23.2 Resulting & Settlement of Markets

23.2.1 All Politics markets will be resulted according to the Rules set out inSection23.1 and as officially declared by the relevant official government body.

23.3 Maximum Payouts

US Federal Elections - £50,000

UK General Elections - £50,000

All other politics markets - £10,000

Markets

23.4 Next Leader Markets

23.4.1 You are betting on the next permanent Leader of the nominated party.

23.4.2 All markets offered on Next Leader/Next Prime Minister/Next President or

equivalent are offered on an "all in, run or not" basis unless otherwise stated. No stakes will be refunded for reasons of ineligibility, failure to stand, withdrawal, or any other eventuality.

23.4.3 "Temporary" or "caretaker" leaders installed in advance of any scheduled

leadership contest or official selection process will not count. The winner of any such

election or process will count as the "Next Leader", irrespective.

23.4.4 "Next Prime Minister" will always be settled as whomever takes up the office,

even in advance of a party leadership contest.

23.4.5 If a Presidential election is delayed for any reason, all bets will stand if an

election is held within six months of the original scheduled polling day.

U.K Politics

23.5 General Election – Most Seats Markets

23.5.1 The Speaker and the Northern Ireland seats do not count. In the event of a tie

Dead Heat Rules will be applied. For the avoidance of doubt, Northern Ireland seats fall under the ‘Any other Party’ selection.

23.5.2 Dabble may delay settlement of any relevant markets until the final result is

known and sanctioned by the relevant electoral commission or ratifying authority.

23.5.3 Vote Share markets will apply to Great British seats only (excludes Northern

Ireland) unless otherwise specified.

23.6 Majority Markets

23.6.1 You are betting on the party to win overall majority. For a winner to be declared

they must win over half the UK constituencies contested.

23.6.2 The Speaker will not count for the totals of any parties.

23.6.3 Any seats won in Northern Ireland will not count for Labour, Conservatives or

Liberal Democrat party totals. Candidates running under the Labour Co-Op or

equivalent affiliations will count for the respective parties.

23.7 Constituency Markets

All markets are for the next General Election unless otherwise specified.

23.7.1 Dabble may delay settlement of any relevant markets until the final result is

known.US Politics

23.8 Next President Markets

You are betting on the Presidential Candidate declared at the completion of the vote

count.

23.8.1 This market will be resulted when either of the following occur-

• All vote recounts that may alter the outcome have been completed

• A concession by the Opposition Candidate

23.8.2 This market is offered on an ‘all-in’ basis and candidates may be added to the

market at any time

23.9 Party & Vice-Presidential Nominees Markets

You are betting on the candidate that is nominated to run for the Presidency or Vice

Presidency.

23.9.1 These markets will be settled on the nominees as declared at the Party

Conventions in the election year or any equivalent process should the standard

convention not take place.
